Loss Visualization Map
Daily, I cross reference two different inventory tracking tools to understand the material flow process and identify "phantom pallets". Phantom pallets occur when a production line requests unfinished raw materials for an order that becomes delayed because that material is "Lost". In addition, I completed site visits, conducted interviews with forklift drivers and line leaders to gain empathy for this problem. I held meetings with upper management to communicate the areas of opportunity I identified to mitigate these inventory discrepancies.

Data Dashboard
This is a dashboard that I developed in Power BI that synthesizes data from multiple data sources to identify and trace warehouse adjustments. It seeks to soothes my manager's pain point of spending 3 hours each morning searching for material. Also, it allows users to recognize trends and present insights about each production line to line leaders and VPs.

Production Line Mapping and Standardization

(Not Shown) I remapped the workflow for current and incoming producing to create standardization, fluidity, and prevent stopgaps in the production process. I standardized the location of all returned, damaged, and new material such that Forklift drivers, new and old, will find the correct material effectively. I designed signs for each production, ensuring that the shapes and colors were unique enough to distinguish for current and incoming lines.
Return Score Cards
After addressing the physical and digital element of this problem, I sought to create a tool for leaders to track their performance. Through my research, I learned that not every line knows what process they need to follow in order for the Forklift driver to pick up and drop off material. By tracking which lines needed the most help, we could inform the proper leadership and increase adherence to SOPs.
