Each of the following specifications were chosen to optimize her play pattern and reduce production costs. The initial mechanism required 3 servo motors, however, the final iteration will use 1 DC motor. The LED lights and microphone are necessary to operate the Beat Detection feature. In an effort to drive innovation towards sustainability, it is preferred that Jenny is made out of a bioplastic resin, or biodegradable material. Once all materials, deco, and electronic components were decided, I worked with a cost engineer to estimate an SRP of $55.99.
